Our Venue
Court House
The magnificent Court House sits at the center of Crown Point’s Square Historic District. It is surrounded by shopping and dining attractions unique to Northwest Indiana, presenting a blend of past and present. It was designed by John C. Cochrane and features a Romanesque Revival and Classical Georgian style architecture. Dedicated in 1880, it is deemed one of the finest architectural expressions in Indiana.
The Court House is on the National Register of Historic Places and currently houses the Lake County Historical Society Museum, eclectic shops, and professional offices. It is one of the top destinations to visit in NWI.
Maki Ballroom
200 Person Capacity
The Maki Ballroom presents an elegant banquet space with a separate bar and lounge area to accommodate guests. It boasts Romanesque columns, historic chandeliers, and a grand piano.
Encapsulated by floor-to-ceiling windows, beautiful hues of natural light shine into the Maki Ballroom during the day. In the evening, the windows serve as a beautiful moonlit backdrop. With all of its unique features, the Maki Ballroom is a one-of-a-kind destination for receptions, showers, and other celebrations.
Bridal Suite
This newly renovated space is perfect to accommodate hair, makeup, touch-ups, and waiting periods. With original hardwood floors and high ceilings, it offers a memorable space for bridal party activities. Access starts at 9:00 a.m.
Groom's Suite
This newly renovated space offers classic and vintage charm to guests. Located on the 3rd floor, it provides the perfect space for the groom and his groomsmen to relax and prepare for the wedding day. Access starts at 9:00 a.m.
Court Room
175 Seat Gallery
The Court Room was constructed as a part of the 1908-09 addition to the Lake County Court House. Its historical significance offers a memorable space for wedding ceremonies, ensuring your big day will stay forever imprinted in history.

Outside Patio
50+ Person Capacity
In 2019, The City of Crown Point re-used commemorative bricks to create an intimate outdoor space on the east side of the Court House. Our patio is excellent for smaller ceremonies and cocktail hours before the big event.
